Square Dancing
Everyone should try square dancing at least once. As a foreigner, whose first impressions of the US were the skyscrapers of Atlanta and the genuine hospitality of Athens, Georgia, square dancing also seemed to be something uniquely American. While I believe that most of the original dance moves were taken from various European folk dances, Americans have made the square dance unique by adding callers who call out cues and prompts to the dancers so no one has to memorize a complex routine of moves (easy on the stupid American jokes, 'k?).
These were taken in Temecula, at a local winery.
